Ghosts? recycled plastic bags...

Boo!

Halloween is almost around the corner... but heres an economical way of decorating your yard. I have a bunch of plastic bags which could be reuse for different ways and one of them is doing deco for halloween.

Items you will need:
Plastic bag
Marker
Scissors

Place your plastic in a flat surface.

Draw the face of the ghost on the clear side of the plastic.

Cut the bottom part of the plastic (see illustration)

I rounded up the top part of the plastic. The plastic handles will serve as the tie to hang it in your yard.

Recycling...benefits the earth & your pocket

Recycling is another way of saving mother earth and something that you could benefit from...(CASH money) At first recycling to me is something I could do if I am strap for cash but in the long run it is actually good for the environment. REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE.
I was particularly embarrassed at first but after reading more about it made sense. Now I look at it in a different prospective.I guess I never thought that by recycling we are consuming less raw material.

Not bad, I earned $17 for recycling...

Recycling Paper as crafts... Quilling?

As I was seairching the internet for a paper mache I came across quilling and was intrigue by it.  Quilling or Paper filigree is an art form that used to be really popular during the 18th century.
Here's my attempt to make one. By the way I just used magazine since I am not quite how it would turn out.

Money, Money...spare change

Long ago we use to barter things in exchange for items or even service. Through the years we have evolve on how we purchase items. From coins to bill to debit card or even credit card. Nowadays it is all about convenience. I find it annoying to have coins in my purse because it occupies to much space and heavy at the same time. We tend to ignore it. But with the tough economic times we find ourselves collecting the coins. So for over a month of collecting coins me and my son went to foodmaxx where they have a coinstar. For every dollar they charge 9.8 cents.

Famous Saying by Benjamin Franklin:
"A penny saved is a penny earned.'
